Senior Mainframe Developer
Job Summary
To support the development of Healthcare Claims applications, the remote Senior Mainframe Developer will design, develop, test, and maintain mainframe systems using COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS, and MQ while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement technical solutions for Healthcare Claims applications based on business requirements
- Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and project managers to ensure successful project execution and delivery of high-quality solutions
- Troubleshoot production issues, optimize application performance, and support deployment activities across various environments
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Mainframe technologies including COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS, and MQ
- Strong understanding of Healthcare Claims Adjudication processes and related business workflows
- Experience with code migration and release management processes
- Proven ability to work in Agile development environments
- Experience in providing technical leadership and mentoring to offshore teams
