Senior Mainframe Developer
Job Summary
Seeking a highly motivated Senior Mainframe Developer with expertise in ACI Money Transfer systems, this full-time remote position will analyze business requirements, implement system enhancements, and support testing activities to ensure successful application deployment.
Key responsibilities:
- Identify application changes and develop solutions aligned with business and technical requirements
- Perform coding, unit testing, and quality validation of developed enhancements and fixes
- Coordinate and support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including defect analysis and resolution
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Mainframe application development
- Strong hands-on experience with COBOL programming in Mainframe environments
- Working knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems and scripting fundamentals
- Experience with ACI Money Transfer System (MTS) or similar payment processing platforms
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), testing methodologies, and release management processes
