Senior Mainframe Developer
Job Summary
Seeking a highly motivated Senior Mainframe Developer specializing in ACI Money Transfer systems, this remote position will analyze business requirements, implement system enhancements, and support testing activities to ensure successful application deployments.
Key responsibilities
- Identify application changes and develop solutions aligned with business and technical requirements
- Perform coding, unit testing, and quality validation of developed enhancements and fixes
- Coordinate and support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including defect analysis and resolution
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Mainframe application development
- Strong hands-on experience with COBOL programming in Mainframe environments
- Working knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems and scripting fundamentals
- Experience with ACI Money Transfer System (MTS) or similar payment processing platforms
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), testing methodologies, and release management processes
