Senior Mainframe Developer
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Senior Mainframe Developer, this full-time remote position will lead the design, development, support, and optimization of MQ-based messaging solutions and Claims applications in the healthcare sector.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement technical solutions for Claims applications by transforming business requirements into scalable mainframe systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and provide technical leadership to offshore team members
- Troubleshoot production issues, optimize application performance, and conduct code reviews to ensure compliance with coding standards
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience with mainframe technologies, including CICS and MQ
- Experience with Healthcare Claims Adjudication processes and related workflows
- Strong understanding of code migration and release management processes
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment
