Job Summary
To support a project with the State of South Carolina, the contract-based Senior Mainframe Developer will enhance an existing mainframe accounting platform, focusing on Composite Reservoir Accounts while working remotely within the Continental United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze existing programs to identify necessary changes for Composite Reservoir Accounts
- Design and implement CRA functionality, including account processing and financial calculations
- Modify COBOL programs and JCL for nightly and month-end processing while maintaining documentation and controls
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Enterprise COBOL development experience in a z/OS environment
- 5+ years of experience with NaturalOne
- 3+ years of JCL development and production support experience
- 3+ years of experience supporting financial or accounting systems in a regulated environment
- Experience tracing undocumented logic through copybooks, call chains, and job streams
