Senior Manager Accounting (NAIC)
Job Summary
To support financial reporting initiatives, the full-time Senior Manager Accounting (NAIC) will oversee U.S. Statutory and GAAP reporting for Separate Accounts, manage staff, and implement process improvements in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the preparation and review of quarterly and annual statutory NAIC financial reporting and VSA accounting
- Oversee investment presentations in financial statements and recommend changes to accounting systems
- Research new accounting pronouncements and implement necessary modifications to reporting processes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 7+ years of financial reporting experience
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of U.S. Statutory (NAIC) and GAAP accounting principles
- Public accounting or investment-related financial reporting experience
