Senior Manager, AI Engineering

Job Summary

Leading the enterprise AI engineering capability, the full-time remote Senior Manager, AI Engineering will own the AI platform, drive the delivery of AI applications into production, and ensure responsible AI controls and production readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Own the enterprise AI platform, managing access to foundation models and AI engineering patterns
• Deliver AI applications into production, overseeing operational quality and compliance with safety controls
• Manage and mentor AI engineers while collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize AI use cases

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; Master's degree preferred
• 8-12 years of experience in software, data, or machine learning engineering with a focus on production systems
• 3-5+ years of experience leading engineering teams in cloud-native environments
• Demonstrated experience delivering production AI systems, particularly in generative AI or large language models
• Hands-on experience with AI evaluation methods and foundation model platforms such as AWS Bedrock or Azure OpenAI
