Senior Manager, AI Engineering

Job Summary

Leading the development of a next-generation AI platform, the full-time Senior Manager, AI Engineering will drive product and data science strategy, oversee a multidisciplinary team, and ensure the platform's performance and scalability in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the engineering and data science roadmap for the AI Platform, ensuring architectural scalability and reliability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements for predictive modeling, planning, and tool orchestration
• Guide the team in applying best practices in cloud-native development and manage a high-performing team of engineers and data scientists

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in software/platform engineering or data science, with 3+ years in engineering management roles
• Proven experience in building and scaling distributed systems or cloud platforms in production environments
• Strong technical background in backend development, APIs, and platform architecture
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML platforms and data science methodologies
• Experience with vector databases, semantic search, and end-to-end data science pipelines
