Senior Manager, AI Engineering

Job Summary

Leading the development of a next-generation AI platform, the full-time Senior Manager, AI Engineering will drive product and data science strategy, oversee a multidisciplinary team, and ensure the platform's performance and scalability in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the engineering and data science roadmap for the AI Platform, ensuring scalability and integration with LLMs and data science pipelines
• Collaborate with product, data science, and engineering teams to define requirements for predictive modeling and multi-agent collaboration capabilities
• Manage and mentor a high-performing team of backend engineers and data scientists while driving technical excellence through best practices

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in software/platform engineering or data science, with at least 3 years in engineering management or technical leadership roles
• Proven experience in building and scaling distributed systems or cloud platforms in production environments
• Strong technical background in backend development, APIs, and platform architecture
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML platforms and data science methodologies, including model development and deployment
• Experience with vector databases and end-to-end data science pipelines in production settings
