Senior Manager, AI Engineering

Job Summary

To lead the development of a next-generation AI platform, the full-time Senior Manager, AI Engineering will oversee a multidisciplinary team, drive product and data science strategy, and ensure platform performance and scalability in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the engineering and data science roadmap for the AI Platform, ensuring architectural scalability and reliability
• Collaborate with product, data science, and engineering teams to define requirements for advanced AI capabilities
• Manage and mentor a high-performing team of engineers and data scientists while driving technical excellence

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in software/platform engineering or data science, with 3+ years in engineering management roles
• Proven experience in building and scaling distributed systems or cloud platforms in production environments
• Strong technical background in backend development, APIs, and platform architecture
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML platforms and data science methodologies
• Experience working with vector databases and end-to-end data science pipelines in production settings
