Senior Manager, AI Search Visibility

Job Summary

Owning the AI visibility strategy for Purple, the full-time remote Senior Manager, AI Search Visibility will manage metrics related to AI recommendations, oversee structured data implementation, and drive off-site authority initiatives to enhance the brand's visibility and revenue in the competitive mattress market.

Key responsibilities

• Own and monitor AI visibility KPIs, including mention share and sentiment, while mapping shopper inquiries to relevant content
• Oversee the implementation of structured data across Purple.com and govern AI crawler access to optimize site performance
• Run the Citation Gap Program to enhance off-site authority and collaborate with PR for expert endorsements and content strategy

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in SEO with significant Ecommerce or DTC background
• 1 to 2+ years of hands-on AEO/GEO work with measurable outcomes in AI visibility
• Experience writing and auditing schema.org markup in JSON-LD for product catalogs
• Strong analytics skills in GA4 and Google Search Console, with the ability to derive actionable insights
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
