Senior Manager, Application Security

Job Summary

To drive cloud and application security initiatives, the full-time Senior Manager, Application Security will lead a high-performing engineering team remotely, focusing on transitioning to an AI-driven DevSecOps model while ensuring compliance and defining security policies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Application Security engineering team, aligning priorities with organizational goals
• Develop and implement a forward-thinking Application and Pipeline Security strategy, establishing architectural guardrails for secure development
• Oversee application penetration testing initiatives and ensure effective remediation of security vulnerabilities within SLA

Required qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in Application Security or Cloud Engineering, with at least 3 years in a management role
• Proficiency in AWS security governance and automated incident mitigation in large-scale cloud environments
• Strong technical knowledge of CI/CD orchestration and integration of security solutions within development workflows
• Advanced automation skills for architecting security tooling
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent professional experience
