Senior Manager, Application Security

Job Summary

Driving cloud and application security initiatives, the full-time Senior Manager, Application Security will lead a skilled engineering team in transitioning to an AI-driven DevSecOps model while ensuring compliance and defining security policies in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a high-performing Application Security engineering team, aligning priorities with organizational goals
• Develop and implement a forward-thinking Application and Pipeline Security strategy for automated remediation and secure development
• Collaborate with Platform Engineering to establish cloud security baselines and oversee application penetration testing initiatives

Required qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in Application Security or Cloud Engineering, with at least 3 years in a management role
• Proficiency in AWS security governance and automated incident mitigation in large-scale cloud environments
• Technical expertise in CI/CD orchestration, containerization safeguards, and SAST/DAST/SCA integration
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science or Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience
• Elite certifications like AWS Certified Security - Specialty or AWS Solutions Architect - Professional
