Senior Manager, Application Security

Job Summary

To support the growth of application security, the full-time Senior Manager, Application Security will lead the development of the AppSec program, manage a team focused on IT operations and compliance, and represent the company's security posture to enterprise customers, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Own and build the application security roadmap, including vulnerability management and security review processes
• Lead and provide direction to a small team of IT and compliance practitioners, ensuring alignment across security functions
• Communicate security posture and compliance status to leadership and enterprise customers, managing the security questionnaire process

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in application security, including building or maturing an AppSec program
• Proficiency in reading code and understanding modern web/API architectures
• 2+ years of people management experience, providing direction to technical teams
• Experience with AI-driven security tooling and familiarity with its application in AppSec
• Ability to quickly learn new domains and effectively communicate complex security concepts in business language
