Senior Manager, DevOps

Job Summary

Managing the delivery of technology for external customers, the full-time Senior Manager, DevOps will lead a remote team focused on maintaining and optimizing critical infrastructure, ensuring peak performance and security while overseeing customer support requests and system stability.

Key responsibilities

• Support the DevOps team in managing client hosting infrastructure and lead best practices for deployment and performance
• Manage and participate in the on-call rotation while providing technical expertise and recommendations to the management team
• Assist in coordinating tasks for certification processes and develop operational policies related to security and support

Required qualifications

• Extensive experience as a technical lead or manager in large-scale environments
• 5 years of Linux/Unix system administration experience and AWS hosted infrastructure
• Strong customer-facing skills and experience with Agile or SCRUM methodologies
• Knowledge of high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery best practices
• US citizenship with the ability to obtain necessary security clearances for government projects
