Senior Manager, Emergency Response

Job Summary

To support scaling emergency response operations, the full-time remote Senior Manager, Emergency Response will mentor Delivery Managers, strengthen response systems, and contribute to strategic direction while ensuring effective cash delivery during crises.

Key Responsibilities

• Mentor and train Delivery Managers and surge roster members on operational best practices and response systems
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of operational tools and protocols for emergency responses
• Translate field learnings into donor proposals and represent the organization at external forums as needed

Required Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of experience in problem solving, team management, or new business development, with a preference for humanitarian experience
• 5+ years of experience working in challenging settings, including low-resource and high-insecurity contexts
• 3-5+ years of experience in mentoring or coaching teams, with a focus on performance measurement
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams effectively
• Professional fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages such as French, Portuguese, or Arabic is a plus
