Senior Manager, Engineering
Job Summary
Leading the AI & Innovation function, the full-time Senior Manager, Engineering will hire and manage teams, oversee project roadmaps, and ensure compliance with enterprise AI standards while working remotely from Canada or the USA.
Key responsibilities
- Hire, manage, coach, and develop the AI & Innovation team, focusing on performance management and organizational design
- Translate enterprise AI strategy into actionable roadmaps for the Innovation Crew and Launch Lab, making trade-off decisions as needed
- Establish and maintain partnerships with DevOps, AppSec, and Cloud Engineering to ensure project needs are met without bottlenecks
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with a proven track record of managing engineering teams
- Experience leading an AI/ML or innovation-focused engineering function, particularly with agentic AI or rapid prototype-to-production delivery
- Demonstrated ability to partner with executive leaders to translate strategy into a resourced roadmap
- Experience in owning and reporting delivery metrics and KPIs to senior leadership
