Senior Manager, Environmental Services

Job Summary

To lead team management and provide technical expertise in environmental risk management and impact strategy, the full-time Senior Manager, Environmental Services for the Mining Industry will oversee project delivery and business development efforts, focusing on sustainable practices within the mining sector, and can be based remotely in the United States or from the Arlington, VA office.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary project teams to deliver high-quality results across complex environmental assignments
• Contribute to business development by identifying new opportunities and preparing technical proposals targeting mining sector clients
• Develop and implement environmental management plans and initiatives that engage private sector partners and enhance community resilience

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of senior-level experience in client-facing management roles related to mining, environmental management, and ESG implementation
• 5+ years of direct experience working with mining companies as clients
• Fluency in English and at least one additional language (French, Spanish, or Portuguese)
• Master's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline preferred
• Strong networks in the mining and minerals sector with experience in business development
