Senior Manager, Fragrance Development

Job Summary

Owning the end-to-end development and maintenance of Glossier's fragrance portfolio, the full-time Senior Manager, Fragrance Development will oversee reformulations, manage raw-material changes, and ensure smooth project progress across internal teams and external partners while maintaining brand integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day development and maintenance of the fragrance portfolio, including reformulations and new project developments
• Oversee project timelines, critical milestones, and deliverables, ensuring clear visibility into project status and proactively addressing risks
• Act as a primary liaison with fragrance houses and external vendors, clearly communicating briefs, specifications, and timelines

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in fragrance development with ownership of complex projects from brief through execution
• Strong fragrance knowledge and olfactive literacy, capable of evaluating submissions and providing informed feedback
• Exceptional project management skills with a proven track record of managing multiple complex workstreams
• Confident presentation skills, comfortable communicating complex topics to diverse audiences
• Adaptable self-starter with a passion for the fragrance and beauty industry, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
