Senior Manager, Inventory Accounting

Job Summary

Managing all aspects of inventory accounting, the full-time Senior Manager, Inventory Accounting will oversee resin accounting, provide financial analysis, and implement internal controls while collaborating with various stakeholders in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the inventory function supporting multiple business units and plants, driving process improvements and best practices
• Manage resin accounting processes, including valuation, overhead costs, and collaboration with procurement on pricing impacts
• Establish and enforce internal controls, ensuring compliance with policies and supporting audit activities

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; Master's degree and CPA or CMA designation preferred
• 10-15+ years of experience in inventory/cost accounting within a large, multi-location manufacturer
• Strong understanding of US GAAP inventory rules and experience with SAP ERP systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial statement modeling
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team of accounting professionals
