Senior Manager, IT Applications
Job Summary
Managing the enterprise application portfolio, the full-time Senior Manager, IT Applications will oversee the performance, compliance, and lifecycle of GxP/clinical systems and core IT applications while collaborating with Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, Finance, and HR teams in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and maintain validated GxP/clinical systems and general enterprise IT applications, ensuring system uptime and performance
- Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into effective system solutions
- Lead a team of application analysts/administrators, managing vendor relationships and driving continuous improvement initiatives
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus
- 8+ years of IT applications experience, including at least 2 years in a management or team-lead role
- Hands-on experience with GxP/validated systems in a regulated life sciences environment
- Familiarity with GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, and computer system validation (CSV) practices
- Experience managing AI or machine learning initiatives and proficiency with AI tools to support project work
