Senior Manager, IT Applications

Job Summary

Connecting enterprise systems for enhanced productivity, the full-time Senior Manager, IT Applications will oversee the roadmap and operations of Service & Knowledge Management and Employee Experience platforms, manage a team of administrators and developers, and collaborate on long-term platform strategies in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Own the technical roadmap and governance for ServiceNow and Atlassian platforms, modernizing employee workflows
• Lead and develop a team of platform administrators and technical architects, focusing on performance management and career growth
• Manage vendor relationships, budgets, and contracts while optimizing costs and preventing SaaS sprawl

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience managing enterprise applications and collaboration platforms in complex IT environments
• 5+ years of experience managing SaaS budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships
• 3+ years in a formal people-management role, including hiring and team development
• Deep platform architecture experience with hands-on configuration in ServiceNow or Atlassian
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
