Senior Manager, Mainframe Architecture
Job Summary
Leading complex mainframe solution design and delivery initiatives, the full-time Senior Manager, Mainframe Architecture will drive strategic architecture for large-scale modernization and integration projects, working remotely with some travel required.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and oversee impact assessments for mainframe solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and business requirements
- Engage proactively with client stakeholders to gather requirements and transform them into logical process flows for mainframe applications
- Maintain and enhance the roadmap for client mainframe solutions, defining and scoping projects while monitoring implementation progress against SLAs
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of experience in technical roles, with at least 3 years in architect or senior technical leadership positions
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with mainframe platforms such as z/OS, CICS, IMS, or DB2
- Experience in an external client-facing environment, managing complex stakeholder relationships for at least 5 years
- Demonstrated expertise in mainframe modernization and hybrid mainframe architectures
- Strong knowledge of Ensono's Delivery Methodology and mainframe service offerings
