Senior Manager, Mechanical Estimator

Job Summary

Managing cost management activities for complex mechanical projects, the full-time Senior Manager, Mechanical Estimator will establish cost management programs, prepare estimates, and support strategic cost plans in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and deliver cost management programs for large-scale capital projects
• Prepare quantity take-offs and detailed estimates for mechanical scopes of work
• Drive the accruals and forecast process, providing detailed analysis on cost risks and issues

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field
• 8 or more years of experience in cost management for capital projects, including design and construction phases
• Mechanical estimating experience with the ability to interpret complex mechanical drawings
• Direct experience in a complex, matrixed environment
• Expertise in Excel and experience within the construction industry; life sciences experience preferred
