Senior Manager, Obesity Strategy

Job Summary

Leading the U.S. payer coverage and value-marketing agenda for obesity and related conditions, the full-time remote Senior Manager, Obesity Strategy will manage integrated coverage strategies, prior-authorization analyses, and payer communications to enhance access and reduce friction in patient coverage.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the integrated U.S. coverage strategy across commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid segments
• Define coverage and utilization-management positions, including formulary tier and prior authorization criteria
• Provide analysis on prior-authorization processes and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop effective coverage strategies

Required qualifications:

• Doctorate degree and 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree and 4 years; or Bachelor's degree and 6 years; or Associate's degree and 10 years; or High school diploma/GED and 12 years of experience in market access or related fields
• Experience in payer marketing, coverage strategy, or managed markets preferred
• Strong knowledge of U.S. pharmacy and medical benefits, including prior authorization and benefit design
• Ability to interpret clinical trials and health-economic analyses for payer decisions
• Demonstrated experience developing compliant payer materials and training tools for customer-facing teams
