Senior Manager of Accounting Operations

Job Summary

To support a growing organization, the full-time Senior Manager of Accounting Operations will lead core accounting functions including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and procurement, while driving process improvements and team development in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead core accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial processes across AP, AR, and procurement
• Monitor key financial metrics and provide insights to senior leadership to safeguard financial integrity
• Develop and mentor the accounting operations team, managing priorities and deliverables effectively

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with prior leadership experience in an established organization
• Strong understanding of expense operations, procurement, and financial controls
• Proven experience building high-performing teams and fostering collaborative partnerships
• Experience in scaling processes in a growing organization with a focus on continuous improvement
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline; CPA designation is an asset
