Senior Manager of Automated Scoring

Job Summary

Leading a team of scientists, the full-time Senior Manager of Automated Scoring will oversee data design and analytics for educational measurement applications, focusing on automated scoring, crisis alert detection, and feedback mechanisms, all within a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Support innovation in natural language applications to enhance educational outcomes through automated scoring and feedback mechanisms
• Drive the R&D agenda and set priorities for the automated scoring team while mentoring team members
• Design and implement studies to analyze results for natural language applications, contributing to research and publications in the field

Required qualifications:

• Ph.D. in psychometrics/measurement, NLP, statistics, or a related computational field
• 10+ years of professional experience in K-12 assessment
• 8+ years of experience collaborating with software developers, NLP scientists, and data scientists
• Proven experience in client-facing roles, including presentations
• Established publication record in NLP applications within K-12 assessment
