Senior Manager of Data Engineering
Job Summary
Leading the Data Engineering team, the full-time Senior Manager of Data Engineering will set the technical direction for the data platform, oversee the architecture and performance of data systems, and collaborate with various teams to create scalable and reliable data solutions in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Data Engineering team and establish technical standards for the data platform
- Own the architecture and performance of Snowflake, PostgreSQL, and data pipelines
- Partner with cross-functional teams to develop reusable data solutions and improve self-service access to data
Required Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related fields
- 2+ years of experience managing or leading technical teams
- Strong proficiency with Snowflake, dbt, SQL, and modern ELT/ETL architectures
- Experience with PostgreSQL and data ingestion tools like Fivetran or Meltano
- Understanding of data quality, automated testing, and cloud-based data platforms
