Senior Manager of Finance

Job Summary

To support Thunderbird's growth, the full-time Senior Manager of Finance will lead the finance function, overseeing accounting, financial planning and analysis, and finance operations while managing a team and providing financial insights to leadership in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Thunderbird's finance function, including accounting, financial planning and analysis, tax, and treasury operations
• Manage and develop the finance team, establishing priorities and accountability
• Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance with accounting policies and internal controls

Required qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant professional experience in accounting, financial planning and analysis, and finance operations
• Significant accounting or controllership experience, including U.S. GAAP financial reporting and revenue recognition
• 5+ years of people management experience in a finance or accounting environment
• Experience with subscription, SaaS, or technology-based revenue models
• Proven ability to oversee tax, audit, and external finance requirements effectively
