Senior Manager of Lien Negotiation

Job Summary

Leading a remote team, the full-time Senior Manager of Lien Negotiation will oversee the negotiation and resolution of medical liens and subrogation claims, ensuring maximum net recovery for clients while managing a team of negotiators and collaborating with legal and finance departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Negotiate reductions on various types of medical liens and subrogation claims, developing strategies based on case specifics
• Hire, train, and mentor lien negotiators, setting performance goals and tracking key metrics
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and oversee the accurate documentation of all negotiations and agreements

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in lien resolution, subrogation, or settlement negotiation, preferably in personal injury
• 3+ years of experience managing or leading a team
• Demonstrated record of securing significant lien reductions across multiple lien types
• Working knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid recovery, ERISA, and state lien laws
• Proficiency with case management software and Excel or comparable reporting tools
