Senior Manager of Revenue Accounting
Job Summary
Owning the technical revenue accounting function, the full-time Senior Manager of Revenue Accounting will manage ASC 606 analysis for new deals, oversee revenue treatment for acquisitions, and provide real-time guidance to Sales and Legal, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage ASC 606 technical analysis for new and non-standard deals, including drafting accounting memos
- Oversee revenue treatment and billing mechanics for acquired businesses transitioning to NetSuite
- Lead the quote-to-cash process and monthly revenue close, ensuring audit readiness and accuracy
Required qualifications:
- 6+ years of progressive revenue accounting experience with ASC 606 in SaaS or subscription models
- CPA credential strongly preferred
- Experience with ASC 340-40 deferred commission accounting
- Hands-on experience with quote-to-cash systems including Salesforce and NetSuite
- External audit experience meeting Big Four documentation standards
