Senior Manager of SEC Reporting
Job Summary
Owning the SEC reporting function, the fully remote Senior Manager of SEC Reporting will lead the preparation and review of regulatory filings while helping to transition accounting in-house for a newly public digital asset and financial services company.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and review of Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K, including financial statements and disclosures
- Oversee journal entry and reconciliation reviews, consolidations, and intercompany transactions
- Collaborate with external auditors and internal teams to build scalable processes and SOX controls
Required qualifications
- 8-15 years of experience in public accounting and industry, or strong private-side experience
- Significant experience with public company SEC reporting and corporate accounting
- Bachelor's degree required; CPA strongly preferred
- NetSuite implementation experience is a major plus
- Experience with Big 4 or national firms, Workiva, purchase accounting, and SOX 404 is valued
