Senior Manager Professional Billing

Job Summary

Providing operational leadership in a remote full-time capacity, the Senior Manager Professional Billing will oversee professional billing functions, manage vendor performance, and drive process improvements to enhance revenue cycle performance across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Directs Professional Billing Managers and oversees workforce management activities, ensuring operational excellence and alignment with organizational standards
• Partners with third-party billing vendors to optimize billing operations and improve collections performance
• Leads initiatives for revenue cycle process improvement to enhance operational efficiency and financial performance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 7 years of related professional experience, including management of professional billing functions within an academic medical center
• Technical proficiency in Epic and advanced skills in Windows-based business applications
• Comprehensive knowledge of patient billing policies and regulatory revenue cycle guidelines
• Ability to analyze complex financial and operational data to produce actionable reports
