Senior Manager Provider Compensation

Job Summary

Leading the provider compensation accounting function for a large multi-state physician practice network, the full-time Senior Manager Provider Compensation will manage a team responsible for the accurate calculation, accounting, and reporting of compensation for over 200 providers, while ensuring compliance with complex contractual arrangements in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop the provider compensation team, overseeing the monthly compensation close process and ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Maintain the master provider compensation matrix, ensuring all agreements and changes are accurately reflected and documented
• Participate in contract reviews, translating economic terms into clear mathematical calculations and addressing any ambiguities with relevant stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or advanced degree preferred
• 7+ years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, or provider compensation, with team leadership experience
• Healthcare accounting experience is strongly preferred, with a focus on multi-site provider compensation
• Proven ability to interpret complex contracts and convert terms into operational processes
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, accrual accounting, and experience with multi-entity accounting and intercompany transactions
