Senior Manager, PySpark Developer
Job Summary
To support the deployment of new cloud-based HR and analytics capabilities, the full-time FLEX Senior Manager, PySpark Developer will serve as a technical expert in ETL processes, utilizing Apache Spark and Python, while ensuring high-quality deliverables and leading technical resources in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the technical standards and development of reusable frameworks for ETL capabilities in HR and Payroll products
- Lead technical resources and ensure high-quality deliverables from Service Providers while coordinating complex implementations
- Research emerging technologies and provide solutions for complex technical issues to support analytics-based decision-making
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/certification
- 7+ years of experience using Apache Spark with Python (PySpark) in a cloud environment
- In-depth knowledge of SQL and database systems, along with experience in building ETL solutions
- Strong understanding of distributed computing and parallel processing frameworks like Hadoop and Spark
- Proven ability to manage multiple support requests while driving projects to completion in a timely manner
