Senior Manager Scientific Communications

Job Summary

Leading publication strategy and execution for assigned Medical Affairs programs, the remote Senior Manager Scientific Communications will manage major publication deliverables, align publication priorities with corporate goals, and represent Scientific Communications on cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as Publications Lead for assigned programs, providing strategic guidance and representation on cross-functional program teams
• Oversee the planning, development, and execution of publication tactics including manuscripts, abstracts, and presentations in accordance with company policies
• Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external authors, ensuring alignment and support for publication processes

Required qualifications

• Advanced scientific degree (PharmD or PhD preferred)
• A minimum of 6-8 years of direct publications experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
• Oncology and/or Hematology experience is highly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to lead the development of scientific content and manage complex deliverables
• Strong understanding of publication and medical communication guidelines (e.g., GPP, ICMJE)
