Senior Manager, Systems Engineering
Job Summary
Leading a high-performing team in the Public Sector/Federal organization, the full-time Senior Manager, Systems Engineering will guide pre-sales Systems Engineers in modernizing data strategies for US Government National Security Agencies and the Defense Industrial Base, while working remotely across Virginia, Maryland, and Washington D.C.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute a technical sales strategy while ensuring effective people development in a rapidly evolving technical space
- Act as a lead technical officer, refining sales strategies and enabling the team to translate customer business needs into innovative solutions
- Promote thought leadership by staying informed on market trends and competitive landscapes related to storage solutions
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of management experience leading Sales Engineers in US Federal & Intelligence Accounts
- 10+ years of experience in sales of storage, networking, or systems solutions to large accounts and data centers
- Deep understanding of US Government IT architecture and multi-tiered client/server solutions
- Knowledge of current and emerging storage architectures (FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, SAN) and digital transformation strategies
- Active security clearance required
