Senior Material Researcher

Job Summary

Owning the catalog experience for assigned material categories, the full-time Senior Material Researcher will develop expertise in products and brands while enhancing product information and improving the search experience for architects and designers.

Key responsibilities

• Own the catalog experience by developing deep expertise in assigned material categories and their specifications
• Perform advanced product enrichment and collaborate with Brand Partners to improve catalog completeness
• Conduct research with architects and designers to understand their search behaviors and improve product discovery

Required qualifications

• Deep knowledge of architectural materials or building products, ideally gained through relevant experience in architecture or interior design
• Strong understanding of how architects and designers search for and specify materials
• Experience with product catalogs, PIM systems, and structured product content
• Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns and translate findings into recommendations
• Proven ability to build relationships with industry stakeholders, including manufacturers and designers
