Senior MDR Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior MDR Analyst will analyze anomalous network and system events in a 24x7 Security Operation Center, collaborate on emerging cybersecurity threats, and develop incident analysis reports to enhance SOC efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate network and system events through lead-less threat hunting
• Collaborate with MDR Analysts to investigate cyber security threats and serve as an escalation point for advanced intrusion analysis
• Develop operational processes and procedures to improve overall SOC efficiency

Required qualifications

• Five (5+) years of experience in an information security role, with relevant training or certification potentially substituting for one year of experience
• Experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC)
• Two (2+) years of experience triaging endpoint events from EDR and supporting the Incident Response process
• Deep knowledge of assessing threat indicators in a Windows environment
• Robust understanding of at least two operating systems: Windows, Linux, or OSX
