Senior Mechanical Architect
Job Summary
To define next-generation mechanical architectures for hyperscale and cloud data centers, the full-time Senior Mechanical Architect will work remotely, focusing on mechanical and thermal design trends, architecting new chassis, and collaborating with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Architect new mechanical chassis and sub-assemblies for future product designs
- Model thermal properties of new designs and develop specifications for suppliers
- Engage directly with customers and consult on technical issue resolution
Required qualifications
- At least 10+ years of experience in Mechanical/Thermal design
- Proficiency in mechanical/thermal design tools such as PTC Creo, Pro/E, and Flowtherm
- Strong knowledge of Server/Storage Systems and their components
- Experience working with multi-national and cross-functional teams
- Fluency in Microsoft Office applications (Project, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
