Senior Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the design and development of liquid cooling and mechanical distribution systems for modular AI data center platforms, the remote Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will own the mechanical cooling architecture, perform hydraulic system design, and ensure effective integration of mechanical systems for manufacturing and serviceability.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end mechanical cooling and fluid-distribution architecture for modular data center platforms
• Perform and review pipe-sizing, flow, pressure-drop, and system-volume calculations for hydraulic systems
• Develop mechanical design documentation, including P&IDs, equipment schedules, and design calculations

Required Qualifications

• 7 or more years of experience in designing mechanical cooling or hydraulic distribution systems
• Strong knowledge of pipe sizing, pump selection, and pressure-drop analysis
• Experience developing P&IDs, mechanical calculations, and instrumentation requirements
• Practical knowledge of chilled-water, condenser-water, or process-fluid systems
• Ability to coordinate across engineering, manufacturing, and commissioning teams
