Senior Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary

To support energy construction projects including power generation and midstream oil and gas facilities, the fully remote Senior Mechanical Engineer will manage mechanical design from inception to delivery, perform engineering analysis, and guide junior personnel in a long-term contract position that may lead to direct hire.

Key responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design efforts for energy construction facilities and systems
• Conduct engineering analysis and calculations, interfacing with clients and developing project reports
• Modify CAD designs and collaborate with CAD designers to produce construction-ready drawing packages

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME)
• 6+ years of experience in mechanical engineering for power generation or Oil & Gas construction
• Proficiency in developing detailed P&IDs
• Professional Engineer (P.E) certification preferred, but not required
