Senior Mechanical Engineer
Job Summary
To tackle complex engineering challenges, the full-time Senior Mechanical Engineer will analyze mechanical performance, perform FEA analysis, and formulate testing protocols while ensuring compliance with international standards.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze mechanical performance and survivability of electrical components under various conditions
- Perform FEA analysis and develop comprehensive testing protocols for mechanical and environmental testing
- Direct iterative design processes and provide recommendations for manufacturing changes to enhance quality and reduce costs
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 5 years with a Master's degree, or a PhD with 3 years of experience
- Significant experience with ANSYS Mechanical FEA simulation tools and SOLIDWORKS 3-D CAD
- Proven track record in evaluating complex data and selecting effective methods to achieve results
- Must be eligible for DoD security clearance
