Senior Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary

To support the design and development of heavy-duty vehicles, the contract Senior Mechanical Engineer will engage in hands-on 3D CAD design, engineering analysis, and production support, transitioning to a remote work arrangement after one week onsite at the Oshkosh headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and improve mechanical components and assemblies for new and existing vehicles
• Create and update 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and specifications
• Perform engineering calculations and analysis to evaluate performance and safety

Required Qualifications

• Accredited bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
• At least three years of related engineering experience
• Proficiency with a 3D CAD system; Creo or CATIA preferred
• Experience producing engineering drawings and bills of material
• Must meet the client's ITAR U.S. Person eligibility requirement
