Senior Media Relations Manager

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the remote Senior Media Relations Manager will manage multiple key projects, develop strategic media plans, and provide media counsel to clients while collaborating with internal teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of media project timelines and deliverables, acting as the media point person for clients
• Develop and implement clients' media strategies, leveraging AI to analyze trends and optimize outreach
• Engage in business development activities, including supporting new business proposals and participating in presentations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, business, or a health/science-related field
• 6+ years of experience in public relations and communications, with a focus on health or pharmaceutical communications
• Proven experience in media relations, including pitching reporters and creating media lists
• Experience in scientific therapy areas such as oncology, rare disease, and neuroscience
• Strong understanding of current domestic and global health issues
