Senior Media Relations Manager

Job Summary

To support a growing public relations team, the remote Senior Media Relations Manager will manage multiple key projects, develop strategic media plans, and effectively engage with clients to enhance their media outreach efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of media project timelines and deliverables while serving as the media point person for clients
• Provide strategic media counsel and develop clients' media strategies, leveraging AI for insights and optimization
• Engage in business development activities, including supporting new business proposals and participating in presentations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, business, or a health/science-related field or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of experience in public relations and communications, specifically in health or pharma communications
• Proven experience in media relations, including pitching reporters and creating media lists
• Familiarity with scientific therapy areas such as oncology, rare disease, and neuroscience
• Understanding of current domestic and global health issues and a commitment to the company's mission and values
