Senior Media Relations Manager

Job Summary

To support a growing health communications agency, the remote Senior Media Relations Manager will manage multiple key projects, develop strategic media plans, and effectively engage with clients to enhance their media outreach efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of media project timelines and deliverables while serving as the media point person for clients
• Develop and implement strategic media plans in collaboration with account leads, providing counsel during client meetings
• Support business development efforts by participating in new business presentations and expanding existing accounts

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, business, or a health/science-related field or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of experience in public relations and communications, specifically in health or pharma communications
• Proven experience in media relations, including pitching reporters and creating media lists
• Knowledge of highly scientific therapy areas such as oncology, rare disease, and neuroscience
• Understanding of current domestic and global health issues and a commitment to the company's mission and values
