Senior Medicaid Business Analyst
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Medicaid Business Analyst will support business, policy, and technical execution across Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS) by translating state and federal Medicaid policy into product features and system configurations while acting as a subject matter expert.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary domain subject matter expert, advising on business processes and regulatory impacts
- Lead collaborative requirements and design sessions, ensuring compliance with CMS guidance and state policy
- Support operational readiness activities and provide domain input for testing and deployment processes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Health Informatics, or a related field
- 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience with healthcare system implementations, including MMIS solutions
- Strong knowledge of state and federal Medicaid policy, regulations, and program rules
- Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and validation
- Experience working in SDLC and Agile delivery environments
