Senior Medicaid Operations Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of over 30 System Operations Managers, the full-time Senior Medicaid Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations, performance, and continuous improvement of Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS) while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operations and ensure system availability, reliability, and performance meet operational targets
• Lead incident, problem, and change management processes, coordinating high-severity production incident resolutions
• Support core Medicaid modules and ensure compliance with CMS regulations and Medicaid operational standards

Required qualifications

• 7-10+ years of IT operations or Medicaid systems experience
• 5+ years managing large-scale healthcare or Medicaid system operations
• Experience with MMIS or Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES)
• Familiarity with IT service management processes
• Preferred certifications include ITIL Foundation or ITIL v4 and PMP Certification
