Senior Medicaid Systems Operations Manager

Job Summary

Managing a team of over 30 System Operations Managers, the full-time Senior Medicaid Systems Operations Manager will oversee the operational support, stability, and performance of the Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) and related healthcare technology platforms in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operations for MMIS, ensuring system availability and performance meet SLAs
• Lead incident, problem, and change management processes, coordinating high-severity incident resolutions
• Support compliance with CMS regulations and oversee vendor performance against SLAs and KPIs

Required qualifications

• 7-10+ years of IT operations or Medicaid systems experience
• 5+ years managing large-scale healthcare or Medicaid system operations
• Experience supporting MMIS or Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES)
• Familiarity with production support and IT service management processes
• Preferred certifications include ITIL Foundation or ITIL v4 Certification and PMP Certification
